Support
Your music, everywhere. Answers for setting up and using musiqa.
Connecting your music
musiqa plays music from a source you provide. It has no built-in catalog. On first launch, open Add Music, enter the API link for your music collection, and tap Save API Link. musiqa remembers the link on your device, and you can change it later on the same screen. Downloaded songs and playlists stay available when you change the link.
The link must return a JSON list of your songs, with a path, file name, download URL, and size for each one. HTTP and HTTPS links are accepted.
Downloading and syncing
- Tap the download button on any song to save just that one, or tap Sync Library to download everything that is missing.
- Progress and any failed downloads are shown during sync. Failed songs are retried the next time you sync.
- Pause Sync keeps every song that has already finished. Sync again to continue.
- Keep musiqa open while syncing. Downloads do not continue while the app is in the background.
- Songs removed from your source stay in your offline library.
Searching
Search looks through your downloaded songs and your source's catalog by title, artist, album, and file name. Tap a result that is not downloaded yet to save it. Play and Shuffle use downloaded songs only.
Playlists and favorites
Create, rename, and edit playlists from the Playlists tab. Tap the heart in the player to add a song to Favorite Songs. Deleting a playlist never deletes its music.
Playback
Tap the mini player to open the Listening Room, with artwork, seeking, volume, shuffle, repeat, and the queue. Swipe the mini player to change tracks. Music keeps playing in the background and can be controlled from the lock screen.
Your library
Music, artwork, and playlists are stored only on your device. musiqa has no account and does not sync between devices. Deleting the app removes your downloaded library.
